General Information


Summer Day Camp is for children entering 1st – 7th grade in the fall of 2024. We do not accept children who are TK or K in the fall of 2024.

  • DATES: June 17th – July 19th, 2024

  • HOURS: 9:00 am – 4:15 pm

  • Away Camp (6th-8th): July 1st - July 5th @ Redwood Alliance Conference Grounds

We will arrive at Hope around 3 pm on July 5th. If needed, arrangements can be made to pick up your children from the campsite. 

  • Thursday, July 4th OFF - NO SDC. Please enjoy the holiday with your friends and family!

  • We will have SDC on Wednesday, June 19th.

  • The closing ceremony and carnival will be on Saturday, July 20th, 2024.

  • Weekly Field Trips to places such as Happy Hollows, Oakland Zoo, Six Flags, Great America, and more! Field trip days typically leave campus at 9:30 am and arrive on campus before the end of camp.

  • Chaperones are allowed but will need to pay for their tickets upon arrival.

Registration Fee and Tuition


(Please pay with two separate checks addressed to Hope Lutheran Church for each child)


Students Entering 1st-5th Grade

$150 Non-refundable Registration fee (Date check: 04/12/2024)


$1150 (Date check: 05/01/2024)


Students Entering 6th-7th Grade

$150 Non-refundable Registration fee (Date check: 04/12/2024)


$1550 (Date check: 05/01/2024)

Lunch is INCLUDED as part of the tuition (more info at a later date).

The cost for lunch per person is $150 and has been added to the total amount of tuition.


**Tuition is a flat rate.  No part of the fees will be refunded for partial attendance, absences, vacations, illness, etcetera. 


Extended Care


Extended Care is a flat rate. If your child is dropped off or picked up during the duration of our Extended Care hours, you will be charged the fee for that day. Extended Care payments can be made in advance or you will be billed at the end of each week. An additional dollar will be added for every minute after 6:00 pm.


Morning Care (7:30 am - 8:45 am $30/week; $6/day) 

After Care (4:15 pm - 6:00 pm $40/week; $8/day)


Registration Information


Guaranteed registration goes to:​

  • Church members

  • DOVE After School attendees

  • Children of church or preschool staff


Priority registration* goes to:

  • Students previously enrolled in SDC

  • Students previously enrolled in Hope Day School

  • The first two NEW STUDENTS to our campus in each grade (have not attended SDC or Hope Day School)


*Due to limited space, priority registration is also on a first-come, first-served basis.


All other applicants will be on a first-come, first-served basis.



  1. Complete the online student registration, open on Saturday, March 16th @ 8:00 pm

  2. Complete the physical registration packet upon acceptance. DO NOT COMPLETE until you have received your acceptance package (one week after registration). The registration packet is available at the link below:

  3. Attach two separate checks (check or money order only): 

  4. $150.00 non-refundable registration fee (dated 04/12/2024)

  5. Tuition (post-dated 05/01/2024) [tuition information is listed above]

  6. Hand-deliver the completed registration packet and fees to the main office of Hope Lutheran Church, 55 San Fernando Way, Daly City NO LATER than 4:00 pm on Friday, April 12th, 2024 or else your space will be forfeited.

  7. E-mail a digital photo of your child to by May 1st. Subject Line: “Child’s Name (Fall 2024 Grade Level) ID Picture” 
    a. EX: “Corey Chang (2nd) ID Picture”


**Acceptance emails will be sent out one week after the registration date. Space is limited. To reserve a space for your child, online registration and all fees must be submitted on time.
