General Information

Hope Summer Day Camp (SDC) is for children entering 1st–7th grade in Fall 2026.
We do not accept children who are TK or younger in Fall 2026.

DATES: June 15 – July 17, 2026
HOURS: 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM

Friday, July 3 – NO SDC

Please enjoy the holiday weekend with your family and friends.

SDC WILL be held on Friday, June 19.

​

Closing Ceremony & Carnival Saturday, July 18, 2026

Away Camp (Incoming 6th–7th Grade)

June 29 – July 2, 2026
Location: Redwood Alliance Conference Grounds

• Campers will return to Hope around 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 2.

• If needed, arrangements may be made for parents to pick up campers directly from the campsite.

 

Meals & Field Trips

• Lunch is included as part of tuition.

• Weekly field trips may include destinations such as Happy Hollows, Oakland Zoo, Six Flags, Great America, and more.

• On field trip days, campers typically depart at 9:30 AM and return before the end of camp. 

• Parent chaperones are welcome but must purchase their own admission tickets at the venue.

Registration Fee & Tuition

Please submit two separate checks (or money orders) per child, payable to Hope Lutheran Church.

Students Entering 1st–5th Grade

• $150 non-refundable registration fee
  (Check dated: April 13, 2026)

• $1,350 tuition
  (Check dated: May 1, 2026)
   

Students Entering 6th–7th Grade

• $150 non-refundable registration fee
  (Check dated: April 13, 2026)

• $1,800 tuition
  (Check dated: May 1, 2026)
   

Important Tuition Policy

• Tuition is a flat rate.

• No refunds will be issued for partial attendance, absences, vacations, illness, or early withdrawal.

• Registration fees and tuition are non-refundable.
   

Hope Lutheran Church Member Discount

Current church members are those who have been baptized and/or confirmed at Hope Lutheran Church and have not transferred membership to another church.

Church members receive 10% off tuition regular tuition:

• 1st–5th Grade: $1215 tuition ($1350-$135)

• 6th–7th Grade: $1,620 tuition ($1800-$180)

 

Extended Care

Extended Care is billed at a flat rate. If your child attends Extended Care at any point during the day, the full daily rate applies.

Payments may be made in advance or will be billed weekly.
After 6:00 PM, an additional $1 per minute will be charged.

Morning Care

• 7:30–8:45 AM

• $40/week or $8/day

After Care

• 4:15–5:00 PM: $45/week or $9/day

• 4:15–6:00 PM: $75/week or $15/day

 

Registration Priority

Guaranteed Enrollment

• Hope Lutheran Church members

• DOVE After School attendees

• Children of Hope church or preschool staff

  

Priority Enrollment*

• Returning SDC campers

 

*Priority registration is first-come, first-served. Previous enrollment does not guarantee a spot.

All other applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, as space allows.

 

Steps to Enroll in SDC 2026

1. Complete the online registration HERE (Link will be available February 9th)
   Opens Saturday, March 14, 2026 @ 8:00 PM

2. Wait for acceptance confirmation
   Families will be notified within one week.

3. Complete the physical registration packet
   Available online and in the church office beginning March 14, 2026.

4. Submit the following in person to the church office by 5:00 PM on Monday, April 13, 2026:

   • Completed registration packet

   • Two checks or money orders:

     • $150 registration fee (dated April 13, 2026)

     • Tuition (post-dated May 1, 2026)
