SDC 2026 Staff Application
Applicants must be entering 8th grade or older in Fall 2026.
Basic Staff Expectations
All SDC staff are expected to:

Be available for all 5 weeks of Summer Day Camp
-
SDC Work hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
-
Attend required staff trainings (see dates below)

Maintain regular, timely, and respectful communication
-
Model Christ-like leadership, responsibility, and teamwork
If you are planning to take a summer class, play a sport, or have another major commitment, you must notify us as soon as possible so expectations can be discussed.
Training & Commitment Requirements
Staff are expected to attend all required trainings, with limited absences allowed if communicated in advance.

Staff Training Week

Summer Day Camp

Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Counselors in Training (CITs)
(Incoming 8th Graders – Fall 2026)

CIT fee: $700, which includes Away Camp

Away Camp Dates: June 29 – July 2, 2026

CITs must attend full camp days
(No half-day positions available)

CITs may miss up to 5 days total due to sports or other obligations

CITs are expected to fully participate in:

Trainings

Camp programming

Group leadership and support roles
