Our mission for Summer Day Camp is twofold.

 

First, our desire is for all children to know and experience God's love through worship and God's Word, build long-lasting relationships, and create memorable experiences.

 

Second, our desire is to empower youth in faith and leadership to know, experience, and live in God's love.

Summer Day Camp (SDC)

 

6/14 - 7/16/2021

Registration is 3/13/2021 @8:00pm

Summer Day Camp is for children that will be entering 1st – 7th grade in the fall of 2019. We will not accept children that are entering into TK in the fall of 2019.

  • The dates for this year’s SDC are June 17th – July 19th.

  • Camp hours are from 9:00am – 4:00pm

  • Away Camp for the 6th – 8th graders will take place from July 1st – July 4th. We will arrive back at Hope around 3pm on July 4th. If needed, arrangements can be made to pick up your children from the campsite. 

  • There will be no SDC on July 4th and 5th. Please enjoy the holiday with your friends and family! 

  • The closing ceremony and carnival will be on Saturday, July 20th.

Registration Fee and Tuition

(Please pay with two separate checks addressed to Hope Lutheran Church for each child)

Students Entering 1st-5th Grade

$125 Non-refundable Registration fee (Date check: 03/22/19) + $800 (Date check: 05/01/19)

Students Entering 6th-7th Grade

$125 Non-refundable Registration fee (Date check: 03/22/19) + $1225 (Date check: 05/01/19)

*Tuition is a flat rate.  No part of the fees will be refunded for partial attendance, absences, vacations, illness, and etcetera.

Extended Care

Extended Care is a flat rate. If your child is dropped off or picked up during the duration of our Extended Care hours, you will be charged the fee for that day. Extended Care payments can be made in advance or you will be billed at the end of each week. 

Morning Care (7:30am-8:45am $25/week; $5/day)  
After Care (4:15-6pm $35/week; $7/day)

Registration Information

STEPS TO ENROLL IN SDC 2019:

Subject Line: “Child’s Name (Fall 2019 Grade Level) ID Picture” 
EX: “Corey Chang (2nd) ID Picture”

  1. Complete the online student registration, which opens on Saturday, March 2nd @ 8:00pm SDC 2019 Student Registration

  2. Complete the physical registration packet upon acceptance. It will be available here and in the church office beginning in March. SDC 2019 Student Registration Packet

  3. Attach two separate checks (check or money order only): 

    1. $125.00 non-refundable registration fee (dated 03/22/19);

    2. Tuition (dated 05/01/19) [tuition information is listed below]

  4. Hand-deliver completed registration packet and fees to the main office of Hope Lutheran Church, 55 San Fernando Way, Daly City NO LATER than 5:00pm on Friday March 22nd, 2019 or else your space will be forfeited.

  5. E-mail a digital photo of your child to sdc@hopedalycity.org by May 1st.

 

**Acceptance emails will be sent out one week after the registration date. Space is limited. To reserve a space for your child, online registration, and all fees must be submitted.
