Ms. Cynthia Huang, Principal; Preschool Director
Ms. Cynthia Huang is the preschool director and principal at Hope
Lutheran School.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in
History from Concordia University,
Irvine. She holds a Multiple
Subjects California Teaching Credential, a Lutheran Teaching Certificate,
and a Child Development Director’s Permit. She has been in the education
field for ten years, teaching Kindergarten, second grade, and preschool.
Ms. Huang believes in educating the whole child to be socially,
academically, and spiritually prepared for challenges in life and one
that loves to learn. Following her philosophy of being a lifelong
learner, she is currently pursuing a master in Elementary Education, with
a concentration in early childhood development at San
Francisco State University

Mrs. Katherine Harsono, Kindergarten
Mrs. Katherine Harsono is the Kindergarten teacher. She graduated from SF State
University with a BA degree and a MA degree in economics. She also
received her California Multiple Teaching Credential from
San
Francisco State
and a California child
development director’s permit. She has experience teaching preschool to 2
nd grade. She is
fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Ms. Angeline Lau, 1st Grade
Ms. Angeline Lau is one of
the newer additions to Hope Lutheran
Elementary School family. She
received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in
History from Northwest University.
She has also been serving in various children’s ministries for almost a
decade in both California
and Washington. Aside from
teaching she can be found mentoring youth, playing volleyball, or
enjoying the company of friends and family.

Mrs. Lisa Woo, 2nd/3rd Grade
Mrs. Lisa Woo is the currently the Second/Third grade teacher at
Hope
Lutheran School.
Lisa Woo graduated from Concordia
University in Irvine,
California with a bachelor of arts in
Liberal Studies. She holds a California
teaching credential and certification from a Lutheran
University. She has
seven years of teaching experience in the primary grades and one year of
experience working with special education students. Lisa is fluent
in both English and Chinese. She is currently pursuing a Master’s
degree in communicative disorders.
