Teachers

Our team of teachers has been with Hope Lutheran Dayschool for an average of 3 years, creating the stability that is essential in helping children connect with their teachers. The team currently consists of 5 teachers and 4 aides, with plans to hire more as we expand into our larger facility. All of our teachers are qualified and experienced educators who enjoy working and learning with children. Members of the teaching staff are either licensed by the State of California as elementary school and dayschool teachers or they have obtained the necessary higher education units to qualify as early childhood educators. As teachers at Hope are encouraged to grow as professionals in the early childhood education field, all of our teachers are actively pursuing permits or taking classes to keep themselves abreast of best practices.

Facilities

Classrooms are located in three areas on our property. The classroom for our 2 year-olds or early preschool is an inclusive room located in the back of the church adjacent to the main office. Our three year olds are housed in a spacious three-room building. And our Pre-K and Kindergarteners are situated in one of the newest school buildings in Daly City at the south end of our property. In addition to our spacious, well-lighted, and clean classrooms, we are also blessed with a lot of open space and nice landscaping which are offered to our children as outdoor areas in addition to our play structures.
